About Sunburst Landscaping

Brookfield sits where the Still River bends toward Candlewood, in country made of ledge and old stone wall, where the hills carry the road up and hand it back down again. Sunburst Landscaping works that ground the way it asks to be worked — mowing lawns and edging garden beds, clearing leaves, pruning trees, and laying up stone retaining walls that look like they were quarried out of the hillside they hold. There is real satisfaction in the finish: earth moved and graded until the water knows where to go, new plantings set in with a careful hand, a bed line drawn so clean it reads from the street. In the cold months the crews turn to commercial snow removal, opening lots and lanes while the ridges above Route 7 are still blue with early light. Danbury, Brookfield, Bethel, Newtown, New Milford — the same handful of towns, tended until each property holds its season.
