About EMC LAWN CARE SERVICES LLC

Late spring comes to Bristol with the grass already ahead of everyone — the Pequabuck running full, the hills west of town gone deep and wet green — and EMC Lawn Care Services LLC meets it with the decks down and the hedges waiting. Their week turns the way the season does: mowing on a steady rhythm, shrubs and trees and hedges trimmed back to a clean line, fresh mulch laid dark around the beds so the soil holds its moisture into July. There is a plain, physical satisfaction in what they leave behind on these old mill-town streets — a gutter running clear again, siding rinsed back to its own color, a driveway sealed into a smooth dark ribbon at the curb. From Bristol out across Connecticut, they plant, tend, and finish yards that keep their shape long after the truck has pulled away.
