Porchea's Lawn Care

About Porchea's Lawn Care

Sunday morning in August, Bridgeport is hazed over from the Sound and the streets are still — the finest hour there is for a mower. Porchea's Lawn Care takes the front-yard squares and the narrow back strips one at a time, cutting straight, trimming tight to the porch steps and the fence, edging the sidewalk until the line is clean enough to notice from the curb. This is a city of small lawns, and small lawns show every shortcut, so none get taken. Spring cleanup opens the beds back up; the autumn run lifts the leaves before the rain glues them down. A yard that looks cared for says something to the whole street.
