About JDC Landscaping LLC

April reaches the Pequonnock before it reaches the yards — the tide runs brown past the old mill walls, and then one morning the ground gives all at once and everything wants doing. JDC Landscaping LLC meets that morning with machine services and a brush dumpster, hauling off the winter's litter of limbs so the grass underneath can breathe. They plant and fertilize trees, bushes, shrubs and grass, apply topsoil where the ground has thinned, build retaining walls and ponds, and design flower beds, plant beds and water gardens. Fences go up straight along the property lines, squaring off what the season loosened. Come the fall clean-up the cycle closes, and by December the same trucks are plowing, opening Connecticut driveways before the workday can start without them.
