About Burkesmen Corporation

Burkesmen Corporation works out of Hancock Avenue in Bridgeport, where the Pequonnock runs down through old brick blocks to meet the salt water of Long Island Sound. Winter here arrives off that harbor — wet, heavy, sideways — and the crew answers it with residential snow removal and commercial snow and ice management, opening lots and driveways and walks while the streetlights are still doing the work of the sun. The rest of the year turns to landscaping and property maintenance: green kept even and edges kept honest on the hill streets above Seaside Park, the kind of upkeep that lets a building look like someone is paying attention to it. They also handle HVAC work, installation through routine service through emergency repair, so the inside of a property holds its weather as steadily as the outside does. It is plain, physical, useful work, and it leaves a mark you can stand back and see.
