About A&F tree services and landscaping

A stump ground down flush, the pale sawdust raked smooth, and then nothing but open lawn where a trunk once stood — the seam already closing. That is the kind of finish A&F Tree Services and Landscaping leaves on Bridgeport's blocks, where the Pequonnock runs down through the old brick streets to the harbor and the light off Long Island Sound comes in low and silver. They prune and plant, grind stumps, mow, spread mulch, and rake the season out of a yard; they set retaining walls that hold a sloped Connecticut lot steady, and they push snow off drives and lots while the city is still dark. Houses, office parks, commercial complexes — a standing mowing round or a whole landscape remade — the work carries throughout the Connecticut area, and you can read it afterward in the crisp edge, the level ground, the yard that holds its shape all winter.
