About W. H. Preuss Sons, Inc.

Wind comes through Bolton Notch with nothing to slow it, and in January that gap between the traprock ledges decides what kind of morning a driveway is going to have. W. H. Preuss Sons, Inc. works those cold hours — plowing and clearing snow so a Bolton road is passable while the eastern sky is still only a rumor over the hills. When the drifts give way and the ground softens along Bolton Center, the same attention turns to lawn care, mowing and keeping a yard tidy week to week. It is plain, unglamorous work, and it is deeply satisfying: a clean driveway before the coffee is finished, a lawn cut straight to its edges by evening. Bolton is a small town that notices such things.
