About Creative Landscape Design

Morning comes sideways in the Litchfield Hills — fog pooled in the hollows below Bethlehem until the sun clears the ridgeline and lays down that hard, clean light that shows every edge a property has. Creative Landscape Design works to that light, with lawn mowing, mulching, pruning, turf care, and tick and deer control, alongside the plantings and stonework that give a hillside place its shape. There's a heavier satisfaction in the rest of it: patios, stone walls and retaining walls, fire pits, stone veneer and driveway aprons, drainage and regrading, stump removal, gravel driveways, land clearing and brush chipping — work that rearranges the ground and then looks as though the ground always meant to lie that way. The trucks run out from Bethlehem to Woodbury, Southbury, Newtown, Litchfield and Middlebury, and down into Fairfield County. What they leave behind is simple enough to see from the road: a crisp edge, a wall sitting true against the slope, a yard that holds its season.
