About Yard Goats Landscaping & Construction

In late March the frost lets go of Bethel's ridges all at once, and the yards off Greenwood Avenue come up matted and gray, waiting for someone with a rake. That is when Yard Goats Landscaping & Construction begins its spring cleanups — pulling winter out of the beds, clearing brush and overgrowth along the wooded edges where these hills tip down toward Danbury. The rest of the year they build: patios and walkways, masonry walls and steps, decks and fencing, tree work, and drainage that carries runoff away from a foundation before it ever finds the basement. There is a real satisfaction in stone steps that sit dead level in a sloping Fairfield County yard, in a mulch line drawn crisp against green, in a property winterized and buttoned down ahead of the first hard freeze. From Bethel out through Brookfield, Newtown, Ridgefield and Redding, they leave places that hold their shape.
