About Roots Landscaping

A bluestone walkway set true will hold its line for decades — joints tight, edges reading clean from the porch steps out to the curb, the kind of result you catch yourself admiring on the walk to the mailbox. That is the work Roots Landscaping does around Bethel, where the old hat-mill blocks give way quickly to wooded ridges and to the fieldstone walls these hills have been keeping for generations. They build paver patios, walkways, driveways and pool decks in natural stone and bluestone, raise dry-laid and mortared stone walls, fire pits, outdoor kitchens and stone fireplaces, and run fence lines in vinyl, cedar, aluminum and chain link. In the green months it is mowing, mulch, flower beds, trees and shrubs going into the ground, and spring and fall cleanups that leave a yard breathing again; in deep winter it is plow lights sweeping a driveway clear well before anyone is awake to use it. From Danbury and Brookfield out to Ridgefield, Newtown, Redding and New Milford, what stays behind is the point — ground that looks tended, and keeps looking that way.
