About Niro Facilities Management

Winter comes to Berlin off the traprock — wind combing down the ridges, and by three in the morning the commercial lots along the Turnpike lie under a blank grey page of snow. Niro Facilities Management works in that hour, clearing and treating snow and ice on commercial properties across central Connecticut, so the first car through the gate at daybreak finds pavement instead of drifts and walks that hold underfoot. When the ridges green again, the work turns to landscaping: the mown apron, the clean bed line, the trim edge that makes a building look tended from the road. Janitorial service and post-construction cleanup finish the thought indoors, after the last contractor has packed out, with specialty work shaped to whatever a given property asks for. It is unglamorous, physical, satisfying labor, and it shows — a place kept ready, hour after hour, here in the geographic middle of the state.
