About The NIRO Companies, LLC

A property that has been looked after gives something back every morning — a walkway you cross without thinking about it, a lot that lets the workday start on time. The NIRO Companies works out of Berlin, at the geographic middle of Connecticut, where the traprock spines of Lamentation and Ragged Mountain lean over the valley and the weather comes down off them without much warning. Their crews handle snow plowing and ice management through the dark hours, landscaping and grounds care once the ground softens, plus janitorial and post-construction cleanup for commercial properties across the state. There is a real satisfaction in a lot pushed clean to the pavement before the first headlights turn in — the banks squared off at the edges, the lanes running open between them. By July the same ground is mown and trimmed and the building reads as tended, because it is.
