About Joe's Landscape Designs

March snow in Berlin is the heavy kind — wet, gray and stubborn, sliding off the shoulders of Ragged Mountain and piling up faster than a shovel can argue with it. Joe's Landscape Designs takes that weight off people's hands: plowing driveways before it sets up, clearing the walk to the door, spreading salt where the melt runs and refreezes overnight along the shaded north side of a house. Berlin runs from farm-edged roads out east to the busy stretch near the Turnpike, and each takes a different approach — a long country drive plowed one direction, a tight in-town lot stacked carefully so it doesn't swallow the parking. The blade comes off the pavement clean, the banks get squared, and the entryway is left walkable rather than merely passable. Then the truck moves on, and one more household gets to start its day on schedule.
