About Artistic Outdoors LLC

Avon lies under the traprock wall of Talcott Mountain, and by late afternoon the ridge throws its shadow east across the valley while the yards below hold the last of the light. Artistic Outdoors LLC builds for exactly that hour — a patio and terrace laid in architectural stones, a fire pit or fireplace lit as the ridge goes blue, an outdoor kitchen where the evening actually happens. Walls and steps, building veneer, entryways and driveways give a property its lines; swimming pools and water features give it a sound. Planting and gardens soften all that stone, and decks, sport courts, fencing and ornaments finish the picture. Stone architecture on a Farmington Valley lot should look like it has been there since the ridge did — that is the whole aim of the work.
