Bookings vs Job Log — which is which?

Two tiles, two kinds of work:
Bookings (marketplace)

  • Jobs customers booked and paid for through SnowLawn.
  • Tabs: Active (new through in-progress), Offers (jobs dispatched to you — see below), Quotes (customer quote requests), History (completed/cancelled).
  • You accept, start, and complete jobs here; status updates notify the customer automatically.
  • Money flows through SnowLawn — see the "Get paid" guide.

The Offers tab

  • When a customer books without picking a provider, SnowLawn offers the job to nearby businesses one at a time. While an offer is yours, it's exclusively yours for 30 minutes — accept to take the job, decline to pass, and if the timer runs out it moves to the next provider. Full details in "Respond to job offers".

Job Log (your own CRM)

  • Work you booked outside SnowLawn — phone calls, regulars, walk-ups.
  • Track status, amounts and notes for your own records; nothing is charged through the platform.
  • Great for keeping all your revenue in one place.

Rule of thumb: if the customer paid through SnowLawn it's in Bookings; if you arranged it yourself it goes in the Job Log.
