Working solo: jobs, schedule & paying yourself

Run a one-person business end-to-end — you are both the owner and the crew.

  1. You're already your own crew
    • Claiming (or adding) your business creates your one-person "Alpha" crew automatically — hours, live tracking, and payroll work out of the box.
  2. Add jobs
    • Customer bookings arrive automatically (instant bookings and quotes).
    • Off-platform work: Dashboard → My Jobs → "Add Job" records a manual job with customer, price, and date.
  3. Schedule work
    • Dashboard → Calendar shows everything in one place.
    • Repeat visits (weekly mowing, seasonal plowing): Dashboard → Recurring → "New Recurring Booking".
    • Route: the Route page orders a day's jobs for efficient driving.
  4. Track your hours
    • Going On Duty (Crew Map "Go live" or the crew Time Clock) automatically opens a time entry; going off duty closes it.
    • Your hours appear like any crew member's.
  5. Pay yourself
    • Dashboard → Payroll → preview the period: your on-duty hours (and any expenses you filed) are included.
    • Finalize the pay run to record your pay. The platform keeps the ledger — move the money from your business account however you normally pay yourself.
    • Tax reports (Pro) summarize income and expenses for your accountant.
