About Tom's Engine Sales & Services

July afternoons in Yuma shimmer up off the pavement, and the sound of a small engine carries a long way across flat country. Tom's Engine Sales & Services knows that sound better than most and takes it out into the yards around town — mowing, trimming along fences and foundations, edging the walks, clearing the clippings once the cutting is done. Grass on the high plains grows in bursts, hard after a rain and slow through a dry spell, so the schedule follows the weather rather than the calendar. Come spring and fall there is cleanup to handle, front yard and back, everything raked out and hauled off. Work runs through Yuma and over to Eckley, Otis and Akron.
