From almost any yard in Wellington you can turn west and find the mountains stacked along the horizon, Longs Peak still holding snow into July. Rocky mountain yard services works inside that view — lawns cut, trimmed and edged through summer, then plowed and shoveled once those same peaks start sending weather down onto the plains. A well-kept lawn out here is a small argument with the climate, since this is semi-arid country and nothing stays green on its own. The winter version of the argument is a driveway cleared to bare pavement while the wind is still trying to fill it back in. Both are worth winning, and both look better from the road than they have any right to.
