In late June the light holds over Thornton until nearly nine o'clock, and in December it's gone before the last school bus finishes its route. Landon Lawn Service & Landscaping LLC works both ends of that swing. The long evenings are for mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups, finishing yards while the sky is still doing something dramatic over the foothills. The short dark ones are for plowing drives, clearing walks and treating ice before the overnight low locks it down. A property doesn't get to opt out of either season, so neither does the schedule.
