About BV Lawn Services

Along Big Dry Creek the spring arrives in pieces — a magpie argument in the willows, a week of wind that scours the trail, then all at once the grass wants cutting twice. BV Lawn Services reads that turn every year and gets on the route before the yards get away from anybody. Mowing, trimming and edging, plus the cleanups that pull last season's leaf litter out of the fence lines and bed corners. There's a satisfying sound to a mower coming off a first real cut of the year, and a better one to the silence after, when a yard that looked shaggy on Tuesday looks kept on Wednesday. Thornton grass will run all summer if you let it; this is the steady hand that keeps it in bounds.
