About Canopy Tree Specialists LLC

Wind is the first thing you learn out here. It comes down off the Rampart Range and moves through the ponderosa canopy like water over stone, and every lawn in The Pinery lives inside that shifting shade. Canopy Tree Specialists LLC works the ground beneath it, mowing and trimming through the green months and then clearing driveways, walks and lots once the upslope storms stack in from the northeast. Shaded turf asks for a lighter, more patient hand, and the cut is set to suit it. Winter in Douglas County rarely announces itself politely, so being ready before the sky changes is most of the job. There is a quiet pleasure in a plowed drive at first light with pine shadows laid clean across the pavement.
