Steamboat Snowblowing

About Steamboat Snowblowing

The county plow comes through and leaves a berm across the foot of every driveway, packed dense as a curb and twice as stubborn. Steamboat Snowblowing meets that with a clean arc of white thrown well clear of the walk, then works the stairs, the paths and the narrow gaps between houses where a truck was never going to fit. Hand clearing is slow, patient work, and it is the whole difference between a driveway that has been cleared and one you can actually use. Mailboxes, gates, the strip out to the woodpile — the spots that usually get forgotten are the ones worth doing. On a January morning in Steamboat Springs, that adds up to a house that simply works.
