South of Steamboat Springs the valley runs down toward Stagecoach, and the wind comes across open water and open ground with nothing at all to slow it. LYNX mows and maintains lawns along that stretch and back into town — weekly cuts, trimmed edges, cleanups at both ends of the season. Autumn is the tell: cottonwoods go yellow all at once, the grass takes on its last deep color before dormancy, and a lawn cut and cleared before the first storm comes back stronger in June. They work to that logic — right cut, right week, nothing rushed. A tidy yard in this valley is a small act of faith, and it pays out every spring.
