Summit Snow

About Summit Snow

When the weather turns, it tends to turn fast — what was rain an hour ago is suddenly sticking to the streets, and the drives and steps are next. Summit Snow works the blocks of Silverthorne and the driveways that pitch straight downhill. Plowing, shoveling out the walks and steps between porches, salting the steep spots that turn slick the moment the sun goes down. There is a plain pride in a cleared drive at six in the morning, steam coming off the tailgate, the street still under its blanket. Whoever gets the first snow may as well get the first plow.
