About Alpine Tree Services LLC

A Silverthorne winter morning starts at ten below, the Blue River steaming under the bridge, first sun landing on the Gore Range. Alpine Tree Services LLC works in lodgepole country, where a stand carries a lot of standing dead and one loaded spring storm will lay it across a deck or a driveway. They remove those, prune spruce and aspen back off cabin roofs and propane lines, and clear the broken tops after a wind event runs the valley. Summer is short and the light is long, which is when the trimming gets done — opening a view toward Buffalo Mountain without leaving a tree looking chopped at. Up here a property should look like it belongs to the forest, only safer.
