About Sandel Landscaping

The first snow of the year usually catches Severance with the lawns still green and the sprinklers barely off — six wet inches in October, gone by Thursday, but a real job while it lasts. We are out for that one the same as for the deep February systems: plowing driveways, clearing lots, shoveling walks and steps, salting where the shade holds ice past noon. Working on flat farm country means paying attention to where the wind comes from, because the pile you set today decides how much work tomorrow is. We keep the blade off the turf edges so nothing is torn up waiting under there for spring. Come April, the yard should thaw out looking untouched — which is exactly the compliment we are after.
