Seven Hills earns its name honestly: a pocket of steep, pine-dark ground in the hills west of Boulder, with Poorman Road winding through the middle of it between Sunshine Canyon and Fourmile Canyon. After a winter storm, the last few hundred feet of driveway can be the real test of the trip into town. Blue Sky Hardscapes & Irrigation, a hardscape and irrigation outfit, turns to snow removal when those grades disappear under white, clearing drives that tilt and switch back the way only foothill drives do.
