About Colorado Excavation LLC

Rye lies right at the seam where the plains finally give way to the mountains, at the foot of Greenhorn Mountain, with Highway 165 climbing out of town into the San Isabel National Forest. Colorado Excavation LLC, an excavation business by trade, also takes on lawn care around homes in this small foothill town. Yards in Rye share ground with scrub oak, ponderosa and stony soil, and keeping grass tidy against so much wild growth takes steady hands. Regular cuts and cleared margins leave each property neat where yard meets woods. On a long June evening, as rose-colored light spreads over Greenhorn's slopes, a fresh-mown lawn makes the whole view feel complete.
