About Uproots

Rockvale began as a coal camp, and the town still keeps the modest scale of its mining days, with small lots and older houses settled among hills of piñon and juniper. Uproots looks after lawns along those close-set streets, where a single tidy yard can lift the look of an entire block. Fall lingers here, afternoons staying mild and golden long after the high peaks have gone white, which leaves time to gather leaves, cut back summer's growth and leave each lawn neat heading into winter. The name hints at the spirit of the work: getting down to what keeps a yard healthy, right at the roots. In a town this size, the payoff is easy to see from any front porch.
