About Rocky Mountain Gardens

Spring reaches Rifle in stages: mud first, then a green fuzz across the lawns, then a single week where everything grows at once. Rocky Mountain Gardens is out in that surge with mowing, edging, trimming and the cleanup that clears winter off a yard. Up the canyon the falls run full and the moss on the rock goes brilliant; down in town the same water arrives through the ditches and does the same trick to a lawn. Through summer it is steady rounds, and by fall it is leaves and the last cut of the year. Watching a yard come back every April does not get old.
