About Greenwing Turf and Rangeland LLC

Redstone glows in October, when aspens above the Crystal River turn gold against cliffs the color of rust and the old coke ovens beside the highway catch the low afternoon sun. Greenwing Turf and Rangeland LLC works the grass of this narrow valley, from the lawns of the village's historic cottages to the open meadow and pasture ground nearby. Turf and rangeland ask for different kinds of attention, and the business gives each its due: a close, even cut where a lawn should look sharp, and thoughtful care where native grass needs room to thrive. The Crystal runs clear and loud below it all, carrying autumn down toward the Roaring Fork. It is a valley that rewards anyone who tends it well.
