About Sandoval Tree Service

Pueblo summers arrive hot and dry, and the old cottonwoods along the Arkansas do the shade work for the whole city. Sandoval Tree Service looks after them, and after the elms and silver maples on the Bessemer and Mesa Junction blocks — trimmed up off the wires, the porch roofs and the alleys a truck still has to fit down. When a hard wind drops a limb across a driveway, they pull it out and sweep the concrete behind them. Tree removal is the last answer here, kept for the trunk that has quit on the neighborhood, and even then it comes down in short pieces over a small yard. Pruning done on a cool February morning is what makes an August afternoon near the Riverwalk bearable.
