About Otto's Tree And Turf Inc

By late July the sun over City Park has real weight to it, and turf nobody looks after starts telling on itself in pale patches. Otto's Tree And Turf Inc mows, trims and edges Pueblo lawns straight through that heat, holding a cut height that lets grass stand up to a sky which rarely bothers to cloud over. Out toward Rock Canyon the country goes bare and tawny in a hurry, which is exactly why a kept lawn in this town reads like an act of will. The work is unglamorous and it is cumulative: mow, run the fence line, edge the walk, clear the clippings, come back. By the end of a season a yard has a shape it did not have in May.
