About Derrick & Derrick's Tree & Lawn Service

Follow Fountain Creek down to where it meets the Arkansas and you find Pueblo's oldest residents standing along the banks: cottonwoods, broad and shaggy, holding their ground in a country that gives them very little water. Derrick & Derrick's Tree & Lawn Service works with trees like those and the yards beneath them — trimming limbs back off roofs and lines, clearing deadwood, then mowing and edging the grass that has to live in all that shade. A tree shaped well in the cold months is a tree that looks effortless in July, and that is the trade: patient work now for an easy summer later. Pueblo's canopy is hard-earned, and it is worth tending.
