MowCo

About MowCo

From Peyton, Pikes Peak sits on the western horizon like a fixed idea, and you can read the season off it from just about any front yard in town. MowCo works both ends of that year — mowing, trimming and cleanups while the prairie grass is up, then plowing drives and clearing walkways when storms come across from the Palmer Divide. Yards out here run big and open, and keeping one even takes honest passes rather than a quick lap around. Winter asks the opposite skill: get in early, push it back, salt the slick spot by the steps. Same trucks, same properties, an entirely different job.
