About Barre Ground LLC

Peetz sits about as far north as Colorado reaches, a few miles shy of the Nebraska line, where wind turbines on the Peetz Table turn slowly above miles of wheat. Barre Ground LLC mows and tends lawns across this patch of the northeastern plains, where every green yard makes a small, cheerful contrast with the gold of harvest. Mowing here means working beside a wind that rarely rests, and a careful cut helps grass hold its ground against the gusts. Each yard is finished with trimmed borders and walks swept clean, a bit of order set down in all that open country. When the turbine lights begin blinking red across the table at dusk, the lawns of Peetz look settled in for the night.
