Palisade in September is a town of rows — vines running level along the hillside, fruit boxes stacked, everything laid out in lines the eye can follow. Law'N Order works in that same visual language, mowing lawns in clean parallel passes and trimming the edges until a yard has an outline again. The Grand Valley sun is generous and turf grows hard in the heat, so a regular cut matters more than a heroic one. There is a particular pleasure in stepping back at the end of a job and seeing straight lines where there was shag an hour before. Small streets, small yards, one after another through the season.
