About Lone Cone Associates

Spring comes late to Ouray, sliding down the canyon walls a little at a time until the last drifts finally let go of the yards behind the old Victorian houses. Lone Cone Associates meets that thaw with lawn care for the town's small, tucked-in lots, raking out winter's leavings and bringing the first mow to grass that has waited months for sun. Mornings here begin with steam curling off the hot springs pool and the Uncompahgre chattering northward down the valley, and the work keeps that same unhurried pace. Borders get cut true along garden walks, beds get tidied, and every trimmed corner looks right beside the painted porches. In a mountain town this pretty, a groomed lawn is a small gift to the whole street.
