On a Saturday morning New Castle's main street is a few blocks of shade, parked trucks and people in no hurry, with the river running just south of it all. Superior Services works those blocks and the streets behind them — mowing, string trimming, edging along walks and curbs, and spring and fall cleanups. Small-town yards sit close together, so one that is cut clean lifts the two on either side of it. The work runs on a rhythm: same day, same route, grass at the same height, clippings gone. Simple to describe, and a genuine pleasure to look at when a whole block is done.
