On an August evening the Indian Peaks stand blue behind Nederland and the light hangs on until nearly nine. Roots Arise Tree Service spends those long days on the lawns below — mowing, trimming, edging, and clearing brush, leaves and needles in the spring and fall cleanups. Up in the lodgepole a yard is a clearing more than a lawn, and keeping it open and even takes regular hands. Done well, the grass runs right to the tree line and stops there in one clean sweep.
