About CMP Solutions LLC

Before dawn in Mount Crested Butte, the only lights on the mountain belong to the groomers crawling across the slopes, and the snow keeps coming down in big, unhurried flakes. CMP Solutions LLC is out in that same darkness clearing snow, so driveways, walkways and entries are open before the first chairlift starts to turn. Snow here is less a visitor than the main resident, stacking on roofs and decks until the whole town looks carved from it. Keeping pace with it is steady, unglamorous work, one storm folding into the next. When the sky finally clears and the peak's steep pyramid catches the sun, the cleared ground below becomes part of the view.
