About S&C Landscaping

September is Monument's best-kept secret: the blue grama out on the open ground goes to seed and turns the whole Divide the color of straw and honey, and the mornings come in cold and clear. S&C Landscaping works right through it, keeping the cultivated grass green a few weeks longer than the country around it. Mowing and trimming carry the routine; edging gives a yard its outline, that clean separation between what is tended and what is simply Colorado. Fall cleanup arrives soon after, and spring cleanup opens the whole thing again once the ground gives. There is a quiet pleasure in the last cut of the year, done properly, knowing the yard will hold its shape under the snow. Monument, Gleneagle and Palmer Lake are the routes.
