About SLV Earth Movers Inc

The San Luis Valley is wide enough that weather announces itself an hour before it arrives, and in spring the wind comes across it carrying half the ground with it. SLV Earth Movers Inc works the lawns of Monte Vista against that — grading and leveling rough yards, mowing, trimming, edging, and clearing the debris the wind leaves behind. Level ground cuts better and drains better, and a yard that sits right takes far less coaxing all summer. There is an unfussy logic to it that suits the place: get the shape correct first, then keep the grass honest on top of it. When the wind finally lays down in June, those are the yards still standing green.
