About Fire Ready Inc

The La Platas go white weeks before town does. You watch the line come down the mountain all through October, and then one morning it isn't on the mountain anymore, it's in the yard. Fire Ready Inc is set up for that morning — plowing drives, clearing walkways and steps, and keeping Mancos properties passable through the winter that follows it. Storms in this corner of Colorado swing up off the Four Corners and can settle in for days, filling a driveway twice between visits. The measure of the work is plain enough: whether the way out is open when somebody actually needs it to be.
