In summer Lyons runs on river sound and music drifting up from the meadow by the water, and the grass everywhere is doing its level best to keep up. Wild by Design mows, trims and keeps lawns even through the long warm months, from the streets above the old sandstone quarries down to the yards near the park. A mountain-town lawn is never a tidy rectangle — it's tucked between boulders, tipped toward a creek, shaded by pine on one side and blasted by sun on the other — and getting an even cut across all of that is a small act of attention. Edges get run, trimming gets done by hand where the mower can't reach, and the clippings leave with the crew. The yard comes back looking like it belongs to the canyon it sits in.
