Hollywood Snow Removal

About Hollywood Snow Removal

Louisville's Main Street wakes up early, and on a snow morning it wakes up earlier still. Hollywood Snow Removal is out ahead of the brick storefronts unlocking — plowing lots and drives, shoveling walks, clearing the doorways so the first person through the door never once thinks about the weather. Snow along this stretch of the Front Range can pile up quietly all night over the old coal town and then blow sideways at dawn. The reward is immediate and physical: a dark, wet ribbon of pavement where six inches used to be, and the scrape of a shovel finding concrete before the sun is up. If the wind shifts and it starts again, they come back and do it again.
