Bullard Tree And Garden

About Bullard Tree And Garden

Morning on Barker Reservoir is glass and cold air, and Nederland comes awake slowly above it. Bullard Tree And Garden works the yards that step down toward that water and back up into the pines — mowing, trimming, edging, and the spring and fall cleanups a mountain property always needs. The ground here is decomposed granite and stubbornness, and grass grows where it is coaxed rather than where it is planted. Getting a lawn to hold at eight thousand feet is a small, real accomplishment, and it looks like one. By the time the wind picks up at midday the mowing is done and the yard is clear.
