Shangri Lawn

About Shangri Lawn

Come June, Hudson Gardens is a riot of colour along the river and the evenings in Littleton stretch out long and warm before the mountains finally take the sun. Shangri Lawn keeps yards through that stretch of the year with mowing, edging, trimming and the cleanups that keep a place from going wild around its edges. A lawn in this high, dry air responds to attention: cut at the right height, cut often, and it will hold a deep even green through the hottest weeks. The reward comes at the end of a visit — a clean sweep of turf, the borders drawn, the walk swept, the whole yard suddenly looking like somewhere you would sit down. Little paradises are made this way, one afternoon at a time.
