The Lawn Ranger

About The Lawn Ranger

Littleton looks west to a wall of foothills, and on summer evenings the sun drops behind them like the closing scene of an old Western — fitting territory for a business called The Lawn Ranger. This lawn care outfit rides out to Littleton yards, mowing and trimming so each property looks ready for its close-up. The town loves its gardens, from the flower beds at Hudson Gardens to the shade trees arching over older streets, and a well-cut lawn belongs in that company. Late August brings dry heat and a first tinge of gold to the grasses on the open hillsides, the time of year when consistent mowing keeps a yard from looking parched. When the job is done, fresh stripes catch the low light just before the foothills fade to purple.
