The Perfect Garden

About The Perfect Garden

June mornings out toward Raccoon Creek and Columbine West smell like wet grass and warm mulch, and every bed on the street is still deciding what it wants to be this year. The Perfect Garden mows and trims the lawns there, cuts bed edges into clean curves, and keeps the turf fed and weeded so the green stays even from the front walk to the back fence. High plains sun is generous and merciless at the same time, so watering habits and cutting height do most of the quiet work. Aeration loosens the clay in spring; cleanups clear the season at both ends, leaves gathered before the snow can press them into the grass. The reward is a yard that looks finished, with lawn, edge and bed all agreeing with one another.
